During the visit, the delegation of the Republic of Zambia, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Zambia to Russia Frederick Shumba Hapunda and Education Attaché of the Embassy of the Russian Federation Laimo Michael Mundambo met with students Zambians studying at Belgorod Shukhov State Technological University. During the meeting, the ambassador discussed with the students the issues of education, learning and living conditions.

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Zambia to the Russian Federation, Mr. Frederick Shumba Hapunda began the press conference for journalists held at BSTU. Mr. Ambassador visited Belgorod State Technological University named after V.G. Shukhov in order to further strengthen cooperation in the field of education and culture.

Interesting and informative tour of the university was organized for the honored guests. Vice Rector for cultural and educational work, PhD, Professor. Y.I. Seliverstov acquainted the Zambian delegation with the university facilities, museum and the exhibition centre

A delegation of the Republic of Zambia represented by the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic of Zambia to Russia Mr. Frederick Shumba Hapunda and Education Attaché of the Embassy of the Republic of Zambia to the Russian Federation Mr. Michael Mundambo Laimo arrived at BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov on a two-day business visit. The distinguished guests arrived at our University at the invitation of BSTU, forwarded by the Rector, doctor of economics, Professor S. Glagolev. The visit was the next step in expanding and strengthening the cooperation between the university and the Republic of Zambia.

From 7 to 9 September XVI International Festival of student art song and poetry "A Path of Nezhegol 2012" was held. The most surprising performance was the one made by an Angolan national - Kolembe Zakariash Sonzhamba Vasco (Architecture and construction institute) - a future architect. The student from Angola sang his own composition, devoted to his beloved homeland.

Summing-up of the visit of the delegation from the Ministry of higher Education and higher educational institutions of the Republic of Iraq took place on July 17 in the conference hall of the the Academic Council of the University. During the three weeks of their stay the guests visited universities in Belgorod. Particularly, at BSTU, they attended a course of lectures

During the one-day stay at our university representatives from international educational delegation visited the university facilities. After the tour of the university the foreign representatives discussed current situation in educational systems in their countries

On June 6-7, a representative of BSTU named after V. Shukhov, deputy director of the Center for International Education and Cooperation E.S.Krasnoperova visited Hulunbuir University (China). The visit of our representative to China resulted in signing a cooperation agreement with Shandun University outlining double –degree programs in "Economics" and "Construction"

Recently, the director of the Centre of International education and cooperation of Belgorod State Technological University named after V.G. Shukhov, Ph.D., E.V. Kapustin has been on a business visit to the University of Makarere in Kampala , the capital city of Uganda.

On May 31 BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov was visited by a delegation from Belgorod’s twin city of Herne (Germany) headed by the chairman of the section "City of Belgorod" Clonks Ulrik. The purpose of the visit of representatives of this German city was familiarization with the culture, life, health, educational system of the city of Belgorod.
