University graduate headed the Department of Digital Development of the region

A meeting of the Central Territorial Division (TEC) of the Russian Academy of Architecture and Construction Sciences and a round table “Reconstruction of urban areas on the principles of the symbiotic development of sociobiological and technical spheres” took place in Smolensk State University.

A meeting between the rector of the university, Professor Sergey Glagolev, and the sports activist of BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov was held at the flagship university.

The flagship university – BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov is rapidly gaining popularity in the world and increases international competitiveness. The university plans to further develop the export potential of the Russian education system, doubling the number of foreign students by 2024.

The festival of aviation, technical and military-applied sports took place at the flagship university – BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov. Exhibitions of military-patriotic clubs and sports sections of the RO DOSAAF Russia were deployed; demonstration performances of the amphibious-oriented clubs North, Patriot, Druzhina 31, Bars club master classes (hand-to-hand combat) were organized.

The fifth stage of the military championship "Path of Strength" was held at the recreation center of BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov in Borisovsky district. Competitions were timed to the day of the formation of the division of special task "Falcon" of Federal Penal Correction Service of the Russian Federation in the Belgorod region.

On September 26, within the framework of the Year of Safety Culture and the Year of Volunteer (Volunteer) in Russia, competitions for the title of “The Best Volunteer Fire Department of the Region” were held at the stadium of the Russian Ministry for Emergency Situation in the Belgorod region. Units of voluntary fire brigades of enterprises, organizations and rural settlements, which became the best in district competitions, took part in this competition.

Rector of the flagship university, Professor Sergey Glagolev, took part in the Russian-Uzbek educational forum “New Personnel - for the New Economy”.

Department of Real Estate Assessment and Management of the flagship university – BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov, together with the International Association for the Exchange of Students and Young Scientists IAESTE, continues to implement international academic exchange programs with leading universities in the European Union.

Sergey Vorobey, the 1st graduate student of Institute of Energy, Information Technologies and Control Systems of the flagship university, became the winner of the governor’s scholarship.
