The University signed an agreement with DOSAAF Russia
The festival of aviation, technical and military-applied sports took place at the flagship university – BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov. Exhibitions of military-patriotic clubs and sports sections of the RO DOSAAF Russia were deployed; demonstration performances of the amphibious-oriented clubs North, Patriot, Druzhina 31, Bars club master classes (hand-to-hand combat) were organized. Also, the educational automotive equipment of the DOSAAF “31 Region” club on trophy raids, sports motorcycles, automotive equipment and equipment of the AIA was presented, the recruitment station for contract service worked on the University Square.
The signing of an agreement on cooperation between the university and DOSAAF was a key event of the festival. The agreement was signed by rector of the university, Professor Sergey Glagolev, and the head of the DOSAAF regional department, Alexander Akhtyrsky.
The document implies further fruitful cooperation, joint activities aimed at the development of the military department of the university, technical and military sports. The parties also signed an agreement on the intention to create a sports-patriotic clubs "Warrior" and "Griffin".
As a sign of respect and gratitude to the university administration, Alexander Akhtyrsky handed over certificates and DOSAAF Russia membership cards.
