Students of the preparatory faculty for foreign citizens of the flagship university took part in the XII International Scientific and Practical Conference "Youth and Scientific and Technological Progress", which was held on the basis of the Gubkinsky branch of the BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov.

BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov hosted a scientific and technical conference in the area of "Actual problems of economic and social development", where young students scientists spoke.

Students, graduate students and young scientists have filed more than a hundred applications for grant competitions of the Foundation: "UMNIK", "Technocrat" and others. In April, the expert committee summed up the results. Among the winners are 11 young scientists and graduate students of the flagship university .

5,000 people from 177 Russian universities fought for the right to become participants. As a result, 100 teams and 130 individual participants, among whom there are representatives of the base university of the Belgorod region, are identified.

Ofor Nathaniel - a citizen of Nigeria, is now studying at BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov. A student composes songs, with one of them he won the international competition "This amazing world."

The team "StudLife" of BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov continues to conquer new heights. This time, the editors took the third place in the professional international competition of the PR sphere “Press Service of the Year”.

Institute of the Serbian language and communications of BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov signed MOU with the Russian-Serbian Friendship Club “OSTLU-Serbia” of the Orthodox St. Tikhon Humanitarian University, with the Synodal Department of Youth Affairs of the Russian Orthodox Church and the Belgorod branch of the All-Revolutionary Society “Rev. Justin Chelisky and Vranjsky”.

“We don’t give up ours!” - under such a motto at the recreation center of the BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov in the Borisov region passed the first stage of the military-sports test "Path of Strength". Team competitions are dedicated to the 370th anniversary of the fire brigade of Russia.

BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov hosted a conference of staff and students where the rector Sergei Glagolev gave an annual report on the activities of the university.

BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov was visited by a delegation from the Institute of Founti and Ibn Zohr University of Agadir, Morocco.
