On the basis of the Smolensk State University, a meeting of the Association of universities of the Chernozem Region was held. The meeting participants discussed topical issues of the development of higher education in the country. The meeting was also attended by the rector of the flagship university Sergey Glagolev.

They were attended by students of the department of building materials, products and designs. The games were held in partnership with the factory "ZHBK-1".

The exhibition with the same name was held in BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov. Her main character was Anatoly Kolesnikov, who here presented her eponymous book to university students.

Sergei Glagolev headed the United Russia party’s “Locomotives of Growth” party project in the Belgorod Region. At this conference, the nearest plans and tasks were planned.

The meeting was held on the basis of the Faculty of Journalism of Belgorod State University and gathered students from several Belgorod universities and the youth part of the Serbian population in Belgorod.

The XXII Moscow International Salon of Inventions and Innovative Technologies "Archimedes" was held at the end of March in the Sokolniki Exhibition Center in the capital. Companies from different spheres became its participants: medicine, education, construction, metallurgy, agriculture and not only. Among them is the flagship university of the region – BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov.

Last weekend Shukhov's basketball players held in Veliky Novgorod, where they played two victorious matches. This allowed them to enter the Belova League-16 for the second year in a row.

The museum and exhibition complex of BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov celebrated anniversary. The staff organized open doors program , conducting tours for all comers.

The All-Russian Student Olympiad "Power Engineering and Electrical Engineering" was held in Kazan. The team of the flagship university took the third place, and the student Nikita Lavrinenko became the winner in the individual competition.

The delegation of the Republic of Sudan led by Ahmed Khalifa Mohamedali Idris, a counselor of the embassy in Moscow had visited BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov with business trip.
