Delegation from Morocco visited BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov
BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov was visited by a delegation from the Institute of Founti and Ibn Zohr University of Agadir, Morocco.
The delegation included the director of the Institute of Founti Ali Belouch, teachers Zineb Bassir and Khadija El Fati, as well as University Professor of Ibn Zohr -Jamal Eddine Belouch. The purpose of the visit was to get acquainted with the university, discuss joint projects, educational and scientific programs, international cooperation and scientific exchange.
During the visit, the delegation met with the vice-rector of the university for international activities, Professor Ruslan Lesovik. Together they discussed further collaboration, made a tour of the university and the city. The guests visited the spoken French club BSTU. V.G. Shukhov “French Cafe”, where he talked with students studying French who had an internship in French at the Funti Institute in Morocco.
Also, teachers of the Institute Founti spent a week in the Educational Complex "Algorithm of Success". The guests attended classes in elementary school and 5th grades and themselves conducted French language classes with teachers. Moroccans were interested in new forms of work for them and shared their experiences with colleagues.
An important result of this rich and fruitful week was the literary and musical presentation "French Lounge", prepared by teachers Zineb Bassir and Khadija El Fati. Pupils of the 5th grade made poems and presented a theatrical production. Together with first graders they danced and sang songs.
At the end of the working visit, colleagues from Morocco received memorable souvenirs from the leadership of the flagship university.
Note that BSTU named after Shukhov has partners connection with the Moroccan educational institutions since 2014. In October 2014, the delegation from Morocco for the first time visited the technological university with an official visit, then an agreement on cooperation between universities was signed.
For 5 years, universities have been actively working together in the field of education, science and culture. During this time, BSTU. Named after V.G. Shukhov many times received delegations from partner universities led by Ibn Zohr University President, Director of the Founti Institute, teachers and students who study Russian at the Shukhov International Summer Language School every year. BSTU has a lot of students from Morocco. Teachers of the flagship university teach the Russian language in the Kingdom of Morocco under the program of academic mobility within the framework of the implementation of the federal target program “Russian language”.
