International Research and Education Center "Geonika (Geomimetics)" of BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov opened his representative office in the Far Eastern Federal University and signed an agreement on opening the next one, but already in Kazakhstan.

Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a decree naming 46 airports in the country, among them Belgorod.

For the 13th time, the flagship university united students from different countries in the framework of the international festival “Our World - Planet Earth”. It was organized by the preparatory faculty for foreign citizens of BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov.

Graduates of 11 classes of schools in Belgorod received in a solemn atmosphere diplomas of winners and prize-winners of the competition from the hands of the vice-rector for educational activities of BSTU. Named after V.G. Shukhov Vladimir Polyakov. These achievements will add 5 points to students when they enroll in a university.

Traditionally, the meeting began with the awarding of teachers, staff and students who have distinguished themselves in project, organizational and social activities. Professor Sergei Glagolev, the rector of the university at the university, presented diplomas and letters of thanks, after which the academic council proceeded to discuss the agenda.

In the meeting room of the Academic Council of BSTUnamed after V.G. Shukhov consisted of a meeting of representatives of JSC "Gazprombank" and representatives of the university. Specialists from one of the banks in Russia got acquainted with the infrastructure of the university and discussed future joint projects.

Winners and prize-winners of the open regional competition of new technologies and innovative projects were awarded in the building of the government of the Belgorod region. Over two thousand participants fought for the victory, but the jury determined only 15 of the best.

Onthe 22nd of May, the 15th anniversary Forum “Small and Medium Business of the Belgorod Region” started its work, which was solemnly opened by the Governor of the Belgorod Region Yevgeny Savchenko.

BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov became the site for the final round of the International Student Olympiad in the direction of "Heat and Gas Supply and Ventilation". 35 students from 14 cities of Russia gathered in the flagship university of the region to fight for the victory.

The “Russian Student Spring” festival ended in Perm. The number of laureates of the competition in the overall standings included the dance laboratory of Irina Yatskovskaya.
