On July 28, the international meeting "Middle East - Moscow - Belgorod" was launched at the Belgorod State Technological University named after V.G. Shukhov. Yesterday, July 27, rectors of Russian universities had a meeting with a delegation of the Association of Arab Universities at meetings at Moscow State University named after M.V. Lomonosov.

The rectors of Russian and Arab universities met to discuss the prospects for scientific and educational cooperation. The meeting was co-chaired by the President of the Russian Union of Rectors, Rector of Moscow State University named after MV Lomonosov Victor Sadovnichy and Secretary General of the Association of Arab Universities Professor Amr Ezzat Salama

The Russian men's national team included two players from the Tekhnolog-Spartak team (Belgorod): international master of sports Igor Neklyudov and master of sports Konstantin Vinokur.

The Shukhov School has launched an interdisciplinary student school of digital construction engineering at Shukhov University. Over the course of two weeks, the participants of the educational intensive will receive new knowledge at master classes and fascinating lectures.

At the flagship university of the Belgorod region, students are trained who are ready to realize themselves in a wide variety of areas. Someone is actively involved in science: writes articles and wins grants, and someone focuses on public life: volunteers and wins competitions. One of these students is Ivan Babenko, chairman of the student council of students of the Chemical Technology Institute.

Delegation of BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov had a meeting with Pavel Shevtsov, Deputy Head of the Federal Agency for the Commonwealth of Independent States, Compatriots Living Abroad and International Humanitarian Cooperation (Rossotrudnichestvo).

BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov hosted an international scientific and practical conference "Innovative approaches to the prevention of drug addiction in higher educational institutions."

The next national aggregated ranking of Russian universities in 2021 has been published (based on the results of 2020). The ranking results were summed up and published by the Independent Higher Education Evaluation Aggregator ahead of the start of the admissions campaign.

The VII International Scientific Conference "Actual Problems of Global Research: Global Development and the Limits of Growth in the XXI Century" was attended by a Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Architecture and Construction Sciences, Head of the Department of Building Materials Science, Products and Structures of BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov-prof. Valery Lesovik.

First joint meeting of the International Commonwealth Association and the heads of the national associations of the Arab countries ,agraduates of Russian (Soviet) universities took place in a remote format. The main leitmotif of the meeting was the intensification of interaction between Russian-Arab relations in the field of education and culture.
