Grand opening of the Shukhov School
The Shukhov School has launched an interdisciplinary student school of digital construction engineering at Shukhov University. Over the course of two weeks, the participants of the educational intensive will receive new knowledge at master classes and fascinating lectures. "Shukhov School" is an educational course for students of construction specialties, aimed at generalizing and developing relevant skills in the modern era of construction and design. More than two hundred people from Russian educational institutions of higher and secondary vocational education declared their desire to take part in the educational student school. However, only 75 of the best minds of student youth from the strongest universities in Russia: the Belgorod State Technological University named after V.G. Shukhov, Nizhny Novgorod State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering, Sevastopol State University, Oryol State University. I.S. Turgenev, Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University, Togliatti State University, Stary Oskol Technological Institute named after V.I. A.A. Ugarov, South-West State University (Kursk), South-Russian State Polytechnic University named after M.I. Platov (Novocherkassk), Novgorod State University named after Yaroslav the Wise, Moscow State University of Civil Engineering, Moscow Architectural Institute, St. Petersburg State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering, Penza State University of Architecture and Construction, Don State Technical University (Rostov-on-Don), National Research Nuclear University MEPhI (St. Moscow), Russian University of Transport (Moscow).
The first vice-rector of BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov Evgeny Yevtushenko: “Any intensive, especially in information modeling, is a two-way road. You will learn something, and on the contrary, you will teach us. So we will go through a very difficult path of development in this interesting area of knowledge and technical creativity. " The participants of the school will have a truly rich program: within 14 days, students will study the theory and practice of calculating building structures, master information modeling of buildings and modern BIM tools for architecture, will be engaged in parametric modeling and information modeling of SC. In addition to this, there will be quizzes on budgeting and real estate appraisal, numerous master classes, educational lectures, exciting excursions, musical open-air and many other activities that will allow you to intellectually distract from your studies.
The first day included a concert program, an educational lecture “What did Shukhov do”, a tour of the university campus and a musical open-air, at which the winners of the regional competition “Student Spring” - the music group “NEVER AGE” performed. There are no less intense and hot days ahead, not only due to the weather conditions in July, but also the thirst for new knowledge of the participants of the interdisciplinary student school of digital construction engineering.
