Scientists of the flagship university have developed and tested in practice a geographic information system for monitoring the technical means of traffic management.

Belgorod State Technological University named after V.G. Shukhov will become a venue for the «Open Innovations Startup Tour – 2018» contest - the largest project in Russia and the CIS countries to search for promising innovative projects and develop the competencies of beginning startup teams.

During one month, the students from the State Pristina University temporary situated in Kosovska Mitrovica and the University in Nis (Serbia) studied at BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov.

On March 18, a mini-football tournament was held among foreign students of BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov, dedicated to the election of the President of the Russian Federation.

While it was snowing in Belgorod, students of the Department of Construction and Urban Management, headed by the chief of the department Lyudmila Suleymanova, went for a week trip to the country of the golden coasts of the Persian Gulf, high technologies, growing from the skyscrapers of sand. The purpose of the trip is to visit large-scale and grandiose construction projects, to get acquainted with the unique buildings and structures of Dubai.

Graduate of the department of expertise and property management from the flagship regional university – BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov - Svetlana Krebs received recognition of her diploma in Germany.

A graduate from the flagship university of the Belgorod region – BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov, the winner of the contest «UMNIK-2016», the senior operator of the scientific company of the Military Educational Scientific Center of the Russian Navy Maxim Kornev took the 2nd place at the All-Russian Scientific and Practical Conference «The Future of Strong Russia in High Technologies».

The engineering competitions and volunteers selection «Meta-Makerfest 2018 / spring» start in the center «Metamorphosis» at BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov.

Vice-Rector on International Activities of BSTU, Professor Ruslan Lesovik paid an official visit to Egypt, where he met with the heads of the partner universities of the flagship regional university.

Three thematic round tables and a press conference took place in the flagship regional university within the framework of the All-Russian campaign on road safety «Occasion for overtaking».
