Today was the final day of the forum of people's diplomacy "The role of graduates of Russian and Soviet universities in the development and dissemination of Russian education and culture in the world."

In 1993, the first six foreign students appeared in our university, they were from the Kingdom of Morocco. Then there were other students from Africa and Asia: Algeria, Tunisia, Congo, Tanzania, Bangladesh

The first in this year's Council meeting of local associations of foreign students was held in the resource center of the French and German languages at the BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov.

Delegation from the Embassy of the Republic of Benin in the Russian Federation, which included - Charge d'Affaires Mr. Pierre Collie, attache Financial Officer Mr. Gilles Viaynon Heafanme had visited BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov on January 18th.

On the June 16 BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov was attended by representatives of the Higher School of Mines of Ales (France): Professor Alexei A. Evstratov and Gwen. During the two-day visit, they will discuss with Russian colleagues the development of further cooperation.

The dance group of "Dance Laboratory by Ireny Yatscowckoi" from Belgorod State technological university named after V.G. Shukhov and soloist of the vocal group "The Faculty"-Inna Klimova were part of the International Festival of Arts and Culture FIAC which took place in the city of Agadir (Morocco) from the 25th till 29th of May.

Within six months diligent students from Hulunbuirsk University (China) intensively studied Russian at preparatory faculty for foreign citizens. And then were trained at the Department of Construction and Urban Development of Architecture and Construction Institute of BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov.

Institutional student boards volleyball tournament dedicated to the Great Victory Day of May 9 took place at BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov.

The delegation of the University of Applied Science Georg Agricola to Bochum, Germany visited our university on Monday, May 16th. German colleagues: Karl Kleinberg -surveying, Dean of mechanical equipment Institute prof. Stefan Voth and employee of the Institute of Mining- Ivan Akinshin. Earlier, in July 2014, during a two-day visit, PhD, Professor Jürgen Krechman, which currently is the president of the University of Applied Science Georg Agricola to Bochum and our friend Karl Kleinberg familiarized with the material and technical bases and laboratory of our university. And at the end of his stay in Belgorod, they signed a memorandum of cooperation in which were outlined the prospects for further work between our universities.

European Championship in beach handball of youth teams took place in the end of June in Spain.
