Functions

The SEC performs the following functions in order to solve the objectives:

it does fundamental and applied research in the field of natural and technical sciences related to geonics and building materials science;
it organizes students' scientific research work, involves students in SEC research work in the field of geonics;
it organizes and conducts scientific seminars, conferences on topical interdisciplinary problems, in the field of natural and technical sciences, geonics and building materials science;
it takes part in the development of educational and methodological support for teaching of interdisciplinary, natural and technical sciences in the field of geonics;
it uses the results of the research work of the SEC in the educational process.
