SEC “MONITORING, EVALUATION AND DESIGN OF LAND-TRANSPORT COMPLEXES”
The goal of SEC " MO&TS" is high-quality training of young scientists and specialists of the highest qualification in the field of design, quality control of construction and monitoring of transport facilities, development and expertise of ground-transport complexes, creation and monitoring of objects of transport and logistics systems on the basis of integration of scientific and pedagogical potential of the subdivisions of the BSTU while conducting scientific research, commercialization of their results, development of new programs and methods, development and integration of scientific research and educational process, methodological support of the educational process, development of the international cooperation.
Functions
The SEC performs the following functions in order to solve the objectives:
- it conducts fundamental and applied research in the field of natural and technical sciences;
- it organizes research work of students, involving them in research conducted by SEC;
- it organizes and conducts scientific seminars, conferences on topical problems in the field of land- transport complexes, transport construction facilities, transport and logistics systems and other objects of the transport and road complex;
- it participates in the development of the educational and methodological support for teaching courses in the field of transport, transport construction and transport and road complex. It ensures application of the SEC's scientific research results in the educational process;
- it provides training (retraining) of highly qualified specialists for the road and transport complex.
