Established in March 2017, the Scientific and Methodological Center (SMC) of professional education specialists in the field of examination, testing and operation of transport-technological machines and equipment at the Department of Lifting - Transport and Road Machinery is a structural subdivision of Belgorod State Technological University named after V.G. Shukhov.
Main goals and objectives:
The main goal of the SMC is to improve the quality of additional vocational education for training, retraining and advanced training of specialists in the field of examination, testing and operation of transport-technological machines and equipment, organization of road safety, design and construction of highways, railways and structures.
The main goals of the SMCs are:
1) organization of the educational process in the field of advanced training and retraining of specialists of enterprises operating in the field of:
- examination, testing and operation of transport-technological machines and equipment;
- organization of road safety;
- design and construction of highways, railways and structures.
2) conducting scientific research in the field of:
- examination, testing and operation of transport-technological machines and equipment in the construction complex, other branches of industry and agriculture;
- organization of road safety;
- design and construction of highways, railways and structures.
3) improving the quality of training specialists by involving students in the work carried out in the field of examination, testing and operation of transport-technological machines and equipment, organizing road safety, designing and building roads, railways and structures, and introducing the results of the work into the training process;
4) cooperation with international and regional organizations, funds, research centers, educational institutions, other organizations, as well as individuals in the field of examination, testing and operation of transport-technological machines and equipment, road safety organization, design and construction of highways, railway tracks and structures;
5) formation of the university staff and staff from the Center, enhancing their qualifications;
6) the establishment of training facilities (training classes) as a testing ground for training new educational technologies, conducting educational and scientific research and experiments in the field of vocational education.
