Students from Kuwait — the future Masters
Students from the State of Kuwait are taking their courses at the Faculty of Distance Learning Technologies of BSTU. Their studies will lead to the award of Master’s degree. On June 18 the foreign researchers were taking the state interdisciplinary examination. The examination card consisted of 4 questions related to different construction areas.
A group of 8 students demonstrates diligence and responsibility in fulfilling their assignment. According to the lecturers, the overseas students express a great desire to learn, passing their exams with «good» and «excellent» grades. The masters study such disciplines as history and methodology of making machines and equipment for building materials industry, computer technologies, reliability of equipment in operation, they also learn the basics of invention work.
The duration of the Master degree course is 2 years. 1,5 years has passed since they started their studies. Next winter they will give a public presentation of their master dissertation papers, followed by Master Degree awards.
Belgorod State Shukhov Technological University is successfully training researchers form overseas in the area of mechanical equipment and processes, which will allow to achieve a new qualitative level to quite a number of foreign economies.
