Agreement between BSTU and the University of Pristina
On the first day of November an agreement on cooperation between BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov and the University of Pristina (Serbia) was signed in the hall of BSTU Academic Council.
Both sides discussed various areas for developing comprehensive cooperation between Russia and Serbia in general and our universities in particular. The outcome of the visit was the signing of an important document - the cooperation agreement between the University of Pristina and BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov.
At the signing ceremony the First Vice-Chancellor of BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov, professor N.A. Shapovalov reminded of the centuries-old friendship linking our peoples, talked about the prospects of cooperation between our countries in education. The Chancellor of University of Pristina, Dr. Zdravko Vitoshevich thanked BSTU officials, and the academic staff for their warm hospitality and fruitful work. He pointed out that "without the development of science and education development of the state is impossible."
The purpose of signing the contract was a mutual desire of representatives of the two nations to cooperate in the development of international cooperation and student exchanges, training of teachers and university staff, joint research projects, participation in international conferences and publications, various projects and programs, as well as cooperation in the field of culture and the arts.
The visit promises to be another step towards strengthening the friendly relations between our brotherly nations.
