BSTU named after V. G. Shukhov took part in the forum Friends of Crimea - Friends of Russia
The forum "Friends of Crimea - Friends of Russia" was held in Moscow. Russian politicians, government officials, public figures were joined by guests from abroad - activists of the International Association of Friends of Crimea. Representatives of 40 countries arrived in the capital, including from Europe, Africa, and the Middle East.
The delegates discussed topical issues on the international agenda, which is complicated by the escalation of tension due to the development of the conflict between the West and Russia. An important topic was the development of public diplomacy in the current situation. The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Sergey Lavrov, in his greeting, highly appreciated the civic courage of the forum participants. According to him, Russia wants to hear the point of view of that part of society abroad, which is trying to understand the processes associated with the formation of a more just multipolar world order.
BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov was represented at the forum by the Deputy Director of the Center for International Education and Cooperation, Associate Professor of the Department of Building Materials Science, Products and Structures Allaham Yasser Seyfiddin.
He also met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Lebanon H. E. Shawki Bo Nassar, Ambassador of Palestine H. E. Abdel Hafiz Nofal and new Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Syrian Arab Republic H. E. Bashar al-Jaafari - for a long time the ambassador was Deputy Foreign Minister and the Syrian representative to the UN.
Dr. Yaser spoke about the work of BSTU in Syria, invited Mr. Ambassador to visit the Belgorod Technological University. In turn, the ambassador thanked the leadership of BSTU for their active work for the benefit of the two states.
