Meeting of the commission on international cooperation
At BSTU named after V. G. Shukhov, a meeting of the Commission on International Cooperation of the Council of Rectors of Belgorod Region Universities was held under the leadership of the Chairman of the Commission - Vice-Rector for International Affairs of the University Ruslan Lesovik. The meeting addressed six issues. Adviser to the rector of the Sadat Academy of Administrative Sciences, professor at Cairo University Dr. Nur Nada spoke about the experience of international cooperation, private and public universities in Egypt, the opening of the Russian language department and exchange programs. He also briefed the members of the commission on the upcoming events in Egypt dedicated to the Russian language and culture.
Deputy Head of the Migration Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Head of the Immigration Control Department Igor Motuzov reported on changes in migration legislation and on the interaction of the migration service with regional universities. Evelina Gomonko, head of the Center for International Cooperation of the Belgorod University of Cooperation, Economics and Law, spoke about the problems and prospects for the development of international activities of non-state universities in the face of global challenges and risks. Irina Ponkratova, head of the student office of STI NUST MISIS, presented the experience of personal and professional development of students in the youth interethnic space of this university. The head of the security service of the Belgorod State Institute of Arts and Culture, Alexander Neverov, spoke about integrated security as a basic model for the implementation of the program for the education and adaptation of foreign students. Concluding the meeting, Ruslan Lesovik, chairman of the commission, reminded his colleagues about the publication of a joint booklet on the universities of the Belgorod region.
