Dear teachers, staff, students and post-graduate students of the Belgorod State Technological University named after V. G. Shukhov! I heartily congratulate you on the national holiday - National Unity Day! November 4 is an important date. This is a holiday that symbolizes the idea of national harmony and cohesion of society, its readiness to defend the independence of the Fatherland in the years of any trials. At various times, our ancestors knew how to unite in order to protect their native land from any encroachment. It is to them that we owe the formation of Russia as one of the most powerful and great states in the world. This day, having centuries-old traditions, still unites us today, filling us with pride and love for a great country.
National Unity Day also symbolizes the unity of the entire Russian people, regardless of religions, nationalities and social status. Our strength is solidarity. Only together can we overcome any difficulties and trials that we are destined to go through. May the wonderful feeling of unity and universal upsurge always live in our hearts, may the bond between generations and nationalities grow stronger, and may this national unity inspire us all to new achievements for the benefit of Russia, its spiritual development and economic prosperity.
