The new hostel will open its doors in 2022
A new comfortable hostel for 400 persons this year will open the doors for Shukhov residents. It was built taking into account all modern requirements, including conditions for students with limited mobility. In addition to rooms and sanitary blocks, there are rooms for study, creativity, leisure and sports. The interior design was developed by students and teachers of the architectural institute under the guidance of director Vitaly Pertsev and head of the architectural environment design department Svetlana Tikunova.
The opinion of the student council and the student council of hostels will be fundamental in the organization of student leisure zones and accommodation. Rector of BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov Sergei Glagolev personally supervises the construction of a new hostel.
The other day, Irina Avilova, Vice-Rector for KViSR, Vladimir Babenko, Director of the Capital Construction Department, Ilya Sukhorukov, Director of the USZhK Technologist, and Mikhail Moiseev, Chairman of the Student Council, assessed the readiness of the campus infrastructure to receive new students and discussed current tasks.
