Congratulation of the Rector of the University on the Day of Russia
Dear teachers, staff, students and alumni! I heartily congratulate you on the Day of Russia!
Since June 12, 1992, we have been annually celebrating not just the day of the adoption of the Declaration of State Sovereignty - this is the starting point in the history of the Russian democratic state.
Modern Russia is multinational, it respects every nation and honors its traditions. Russia Day is not just a memorable date, it is a symbol of a common destiny, the unity of generations. Today this holiday is more important than ever. Russia needs our unanimity and support. Our knowledge and skills should serve for the benefit of the Fatherland. We live in a beautiful country and must do everything so that future generations can be proud of their history. I wish you peace, prosperity and success in all your endeavors! Be worthy citizens of our great country!
