Shukhov team in the finals of the international engineering championship CASE-IN
BSTU named after V. G. Shukhov reached the final of the CASE-IN International Engineering Championship. At the qualifying stage in the "Industrial Safety" direction, two teams of our university were registered. The team of the department of life safety "PROTrud" reached the final of the championship, which included Ulyana Bozhko (gr. BZh-41), Pavel Korobkov (gr. BZh-191), Daria Ryzhykh (gr. MBZh-201) and Elena Shenshina (gr. MBZH-211). The team passed the qualifying round and the semi-finals, solving two cases from the Gazstroyprom company.
The tasks were devoted to the introduction of Industry 4.0 technologies into waste management systems, environmental management and the construction of gas pipelines in the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug. The CASE-IN final will take place in Moscow at the end of May. It should be noted that the CASE-IN International Engineering Championship is a team competition among university students in solving engineering cases dedicated to real production problems and developed based on materials from industry enterprises. In 2019, he was included in the presidential platform of the ANO "Russia - a Land of Opportunities", and also entered the top 15 Olympiads in the world according to the RAEX rating agency (RAEX-Analytics). The 10th anniversary season of the championship is held in 2022.
