The power of tradition

BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov has been in strong and friendly relations with Serbian colleagues for many years. Traditionally, open lectures, round tables, seminars are held, allowing listeners to learn interesting facts about history, culture and traditions. At the Boiling Point of BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov, an open lecture was held by Doctor of Political Sciences, Professor, Police Colonel Konstantin Nikolaevich Lobanov, Head of the Department of Psychology and Pedagogy of the Belgorod Law Institute of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia. I. D. Putilin on the topic “The Bombing of Yugoslavia in 1999: Forgiveness Cannot Be Forgotten”. More than a hundred students from BSTU named after  V.G. Shukhov, BelSU, BelEUI of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation and the Belgorod Orthodox Theological Seminary discussed the events of twenty-three years ago, the background and consequences, the current situation in the world. Konstantin Nikolaevich noted the great support of Russia by the Serbian people. As part of the event, a book exhibition "History Lessons: Yugoslavia in the 1990s" was also organized. from the funds of the Institute of the Serbian Language and Communications of the Belarusian State Technical University named after  V.G. Shukhov. The recording of the lecture "Bombing of Yugoslavia in 1999: Forgiveness cannot be forgotten" will be available on the resources of BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov.
