Thanks to the development of scientists from BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov in the region managed to save 270 million rubles on heating.
The Energy Saving Center of the Belgorod Region summed up the results of the implementation of the region's energy resource management system in the public sector over the past three years. Recall that teachers, engineers and graduate students of the Institute of Energy, Information Technologies and Control Systems of BSTU named after V. G. Shukhov.
This is one of the projects of the Priority-2030 program of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation. The Energy Resources Management System of the Belgorod Region (SUER) has been implemented by the regional Ministry of Housing and Public Utilities since 2018. It allows obtaining information on the volumes of consumption, production, distribution of fuel and energy resources and water; characteristics of energy saving objects; concluded contracts for electricity, heat, water and gas supply and other important parameters. In 2021, the volume of heat energy consumption in the Belgorod Region decreased by 100,230 Gcal compared to 2018, and by 37,097 Gcal compared to 2020. The economic effect amounted to about 270 million rubles. Information about the project is included in the list of successful cases on energy efficiency and energy saving in Russia.
