Professor of BSTU named after Shukhov became the author of the monument to Maxim Gorky in Egypt
On March 14, a monument to the great Russian writer and thinker Maxim Gorky was opened in the regional museum of Kafr El-Sheikh (Arab Republic of Egypt). The author of the monument was a famous Egyptian sculptor, professor at the Department of Architecture of the Belgorod State Technical University named after V.G. Shukhov, Professor of Fine Arts at Cairo University Dr. Elservi Osama Elsayed Mahmoud Mohamed.
This is already the 83rd work of the master. The opening ceremony was attended by Russian consul in Alexandria Pavel Kedisiodoka, museum director Dr. Osama Farida, poet Tarek Mursi.
