Sports Olympus of the Belgorod state technological university named after V.G. Shukhov
In the oval hall of the regional administration, the Governor of the Belgorod Region Vyacheslav Gladkov awarded the winners of the Sports Olympus award based on the results of 2021. Among the awardees are handball players of the Tekhnolog-Spartak team Igor Neklyudov and Konstantin Vinokur, bronze medalists of the European Handball Championship, the Tekhnolog-Spartak team, which won the title of Russian Handball Champion in 2021, and team coach Sergey Kramskoy. Vyacheslav Vladimirovich introduced the Sports Olympus award for the first time and plans to encourage Belgorod athletes every year, summing up the results of the year.
“It is better to invest in the construction of stadiums and sports facilities, and not in hospitals and medicines. I really want every Belgorod citizen to go in for physical culture and sports,” said the head of the region, opening the event.
