The agenda during the meeting discussed competition cases, scientific and innovative activities of the university, the work of the college of high technologies and the prospects for the development of open source software at the university and many other issues.
The Vice-Rector for Scientific and Innovative Activity spoke on the issue "Scientific and innovative activity of the university: results and prospects". It was noted that the university occupies leading positions in the ratings of publications in the Scopus Web of Science databases. The Director of the College of High Technologies spoke on the second issue of the agenda “On the work of the college of high technologies and the prospects for the development of open source software at the university”. He highlighted the characteristics of the open source software system in the Russian Federation, spoke about the activities of the college of high technologies in 2020 and gave its numerical indicators. “The average college entrance mark is always above 4.4. This suggests that secondary vocational education is received by trained schoolchildren who have passed a competitive selection, "- said the director of the college. The members of the Academic Council also considered and approved the candidacies for awarding the commemorative medal “For services to BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov ", the opening of the master's program and the approval of the new edition of the regulation" The procedure for individual recording of the results of the development of educational programs by students, storage in archives of information about these results on paper and (or) electronic media.
