Cooperation of BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov with a Chinese school
The flagship university continues to expand Russian-Chinese cooperation in the fields of education, science and culture. The vice-rector for international activities of the flagship university and the director of the school No. 1 signed a cooperation agreement.
The educational institution is one of the largest schools in Shandong province. It trains about 5,000 schoolchildren, including 800 of them study Russian as a foreign language.
The meeting discussed issues of mutually beneficial partnership in the field of studying the Russian language by Chinese citizens and their training in specialized subjects of the selected specialties of BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov.
After the presentation of the activities of BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov, schoolchildren from China gave preference to technical and economic areas, and also became interested in scientific research in these areas. Many graduates are ready to continue their studies at the undergraduate program of the flagship university. The first applicants will begin their acquaintance with the university in the summer language school "technologist" and learn more about educational training programs for the future choice of a specialty.
Recall that BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov has been cooperating with many Chinese universities for many years, among them are: Linyi and Hulunbuir Universities, Shandong Vocational and Tinjiang Universities of Foreign Languages.
