Miners Day was held at the university
At the flagship university of the Belgorod region, the Miner's Day is held for the sixth time and every year an increasing number of students, undergraduates, graduate students and teachers of BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov.
At the Center for High Technologies of the university, during a face-to-face meeting, Shukhovites met with representatives of specialized universities in Russia, graduates of BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov and representatives of the country's mining complex. The plenary session was attended by: Sergei Latyshev, Director of the Institute of Technological Equipment and Mechanical Engineering, Vasily Bogdanov, Head. Department of Mechanical Equipment and Viktor Dmitrienko, Associate Professor of the Department of Mechanical Equipment, Head of section "Mining" BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov; Vadim Petrov, Chairman of the Federal Educational Institution of Higher Education in the system of higher education for enlarged groups of specialties and areas of training "Applied geology, mining, oil and gas business and geodesy"; Maxim Rakhutin, Head Department of Mining Equipment, Transport and Mechanical Engineering, MISiS; Vladimir Simba, postgraduate student of MISIS, graduate of BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov; and representatives of SGOK. The chairman of the Federal UMO Vadim Petrov made a welcoming speech: “It is very important that the university conducts such events that become platforms for the exchange of experience and knowledge. Of exceptional importance is the fact that at these sites there are not only scientists, but also students who will soon become mining engineers and researchers in the field of mining. " At the event, a solemn presentation of diplomas "For excellent studies and active life position in BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov ”to the students of the Institute of Technological Equipment and Mechanical Engineering, studying in the specialty“ Mining Machines ”:Nikolai Andronic and Polina Baklanova.
After the awarding ceremony and presentations, a mini-football tournament was held with the participation of the following teams:
teachers of BSTU named after V.G. Shukhova, students of ITOM, the combined team of the Yakovlevsky GOK and the combined team of the Yakovlevsky Polytechnic College.
According to the results of the competition, the places were distributed as follows:
1st place - "Miner" Yakovlevsky mining and processing plant,
2nd place - teachers of BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov,
3rd place - students of ITOM,
4th place - students of the Yakovlevsky Polytechnic College (Builder)
