The victory of student of BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov in the World Championship in kettlebell lifting
For several days, the world championship in kettlebell lifting took place in St. Petersburg.
Student of the Transport and Technological Institute of BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov- Sergey Kiryukhin became the winner in the team relay race among juniors, showing the best result. He represented the Belgorod region in the Russia-2 team of four, which was part of the Russian national team.
Athletes from all over the world tried not only to prove themselves, but also to set their own records. On the first day alone, 3 world records were broken. Sergey Kiryukhin took part in the relay race - pushing kettlebells in a long cycle. This is a throw of kettlebells from the hanging position to the chest with a push and subsequent lowering to the hanging position. We congratulate Sergey and wish him new victories!
