The victory of BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov in the regional competition My Yours Our Pride
n September 17 the regional contest #MyYourNashaPride ended. The qualifying stages, online voting, excitement and anxiety were left behind. The Belgorod State Philharmonic Society awarded the winners of the competition - the pride of the region, in each of 10 nominations.
More than 1000 applications were sent to the competition, of which over 800 were selected for further participation. In the final, 100 people met and competed for victory among the best of the best.
The winner of the competition in the Science and Innovation nomination was announced by Valeria Strokova, head of the department. Department of Materials Science and Technology of Materials, BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov, Professor of the Russian Academy of Sciences in the Department of Earth Sciences. In her welcoming speech, Valeria Valerievna noted that: “Young scientists also hoped their success to the entire region. Your achievements will allow the Belgorod region to be among the leaders in innovative development. "
The winner in the Science and Innovation nomination was Viktoria Nelyubova - Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Materials Science and Technology of Materials at Shukhov BSTU.
The winner in the Territory Improvement nomination was congratulated by Georgy Golikov, Chairman of the Joint Trade Union Committee of BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov, a member of the public chamber of the Belgorod region and Jennifer Letkemann, a student of the BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov, winner of a grant from the forum of young cultural and art workers "Tavrida", author of the monument "Crossroads of Memory".
