Innovative projects of the university are awarded medals at the international level
According to the results of the XXIII Moscow International Salon of Inventions and Innovative Technologies "Archimedes-2020" innovative projects of BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov were awarded medals and diplomas.
All presented exhibits were evaluated by an expert commission and an international jury. The best were awarded gold, silver and bronze medals.
Among them are five innovative projects of BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov:
- Gold medal for the project "Development of a machine vision system for detecting defects in grinding paper" (A.A. Stepovoy, assistant of the department of technical cybernetics and R.A. Vashchenko, candidate of technical sciences, senior teacher of the department of technical cybernetics );
- silver medals for the projects: "Technology for processing gypsum-containing waste of industrial enterprises" (N.I. Alfimova, candidate of technical sciences, associate professor of the department of building materials science, products and structures and I.S. Nikulin, candidate of physical and mathematical sciences) and "Method obtaining a water-repelling water emulsion for coatings of building materials "(V.V. Strokova, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor, Adviser to the RAAS and P.S. Baskakov, Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Materials Science and Materials Technology );
- Bronze medals for projects: "Software complex for property management of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation" (YA Romanovich, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor, Head of the Department of Hoisting-and-Transport and Road Machines, TTI, M.A. Romanovich, Candidate of Economic Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Hoisting-and-Transport and Road Machines).
Note: the international Salon of Inventions and Innovative Technologies "Archimedes" is the largest world exhibition of inventions, industrial designs, trademarks and utility models. The main purpose of the Salon is to activate inventive, patent-licensing and innovation activities, to develop the market for new products and services. Up to 80% of the results of intellectual activity presented at the Salon are introduced into production, which shows the high efficiency of the Salon.
The Salon participants become full-fledged members of the worldwide inventive community.
