Students construction team participants are working with sparkling.
This summer, the international students’ summer construction team called "Belogorie' includes foreign students, citizens of the countries in Africa, Asia, South America. Their total number is over thirty people. Most of them are involved in the construction of the university swimming pool. D.S. Goncharenko, Director of "JSC Stroymontazh" is satisfied with his workers:
This kind of work is not easy at all: concreting the heated floor in the hall, landscaping the adjacent area, removal of construction debris. But the guys cope with it. All of them are well aware how important it is for our university to complete the facility as scheduled. After all, a new swimming pool with its powerful health effects, will undoubtedly contribute to health improvement for students, lecturers and the university staff. Realizing the importance of the matter, the young men are working with the sparkling, which is very fruitful. I would like to stress that with the high construction speed does not result in the inferior quality – as Dmitry Sergeyevich summed up the conversation.
We were able to talk to a group of foreign students, citizens of African countries. The boys are working on the landscaping the area adjacent to the pool. This work requires considerable effort, but it is clear that they are working hard.
Chairman of the Association of Foreign Students Belgorod region Mohammad Usman Usman Usman, who is also engaged in construction work, is positive that the work is for the benefit of summer construction team participants. Swimming will make the university more attractive to those who wish to study here.
A fourth-year student of the Institute of Economics and management Shamsudin Mahhamed from Chad wipes sweat from his forehead:
- This is not my first summer in "Belogorie" students construction team. We are well aware that building a swimming pool is being made for our own good. I am confident that this facility will help to improve the health of students, teachers and university staff. I am pleased that on coming home, I will leave a good memory here.
T. Orekhova, a chief of the University summer construction team meets the students working there every day. She asks them about the working and life conditions, talks to the foreman and other people responsible for the site.
Our intention was not only to see the guys doing their good job and gaining valuable experience in the construction industry, but also to give them an opportunity to see the sights of the Holy Belogodia. We are planning tours of the city and mini-football matches.
It remains to add that all the expenses for the hostel accommodation, arrangement of sport and cultural events for "Belogorie" team members are taken by the university.
