STEM concepts for teachers
The II Interregional online seminar for teachers "STEM-region 2020" was held. The general partner of the seminar was the Small Technological University of BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov with the support of the Department of Education of the Belgorod Region. In total, more than 150 teachers from the Belgorod region, as well as from other regions of Russia, Armenia, Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan took part in the event.
At the seminar, specialists of the education system got acquainted not only with the novelties that Stamford had prepared for the start of the New academic year, but also with the higher educational systems of continuous education. Director of the innovative scientific, educational and experimental-industrial center "Nanostructured composite materials" BSTU named after Shukhova Valeria Strokova was the first to take the floor and share her experience in the implementation of continuous training in the "School - University - Enterprise" system for the nanoindustry. It was noted that this system provides advanced professional training and the formation of a personnel reserve of specialists for scientific and educational projects of industrial organizations.

Director of the Small Technological University of BSTU named after Shukhov Natalya Altynnik presented the experience of the region in the field of pre-university and vocational guidance work with schoolchildren in the field of high technologies. She noted that the pivotal university of the region contributes to the technological progress of the region and the strengthening of the region's competitive advantages in priority areas of the country's strategic development.
