BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov organized conference with indexing in Scopus
Based on the results of the International Scientific Conference "BuildIn Tech BIT 2020. Innovations and Technologies in Construction", held on the basis of the Belgorod State Technological University named after V.G. Shukhov, the scientific publication center UNIR carried out a set of articles and published a collection of scientific papers Lecture Notes in Civil Engineering published by Springer.
The selection of articles was carried out in the following areas:
- Construction Materials,
- building structures, industrial and civil construction,
- structural mechanics and theory of structures.
The chief editor of the collection was the head of the scientific research department of the BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov Sergey Klyuev, editors: professor, corresponding member. RAASN, head. department SMiK BSTU them. V.G. Shukhova Valery Lesovik and professor of Peter the Great SPbPU Nikolay Vatin.
The 50 articles presented in the collection reflect the results of scientific research and advanced achievements in the field of industrial and civil construction (design, organization of all types of work, building materials, etc.), as well as promising directions for the development of the construction industry.
The authors of scientific papers were 420 participants from 30 regions of the Russian Federation, as well as 19 participants from 7 countries of the near and far abroad (China, Iraq, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Ukraine, Uzbekistan and Vietnam).
Many articles were prepared with the financial support of grants, federal targeted programs, resolutions of the Government of the Russian Federation, etc.
All articles have been reviewed by leading experts in the specified thematic areas.
It should be noted that the Lecture Notes in Civil Engineering is indexed in the International Scopus Database by subject area and category Civiland Structural Engineering.
Publication of 35 scientific articles submitted by the staff of BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov in this edition, will allow the university in the future to apply for entry into the subject ranking of the QS World University Rankings in the field of Engineering - Civil & Structural.
