BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov signed MoU on line, it sets out in detail the factual side of the international issue of interaction with Avid college in Male, Maldives.
The signing of the memorandum was attended by Sergei Nikolaevich Glagolev, rector of BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov; Ruslan Valerievich Lesovik, Vice-Rector for International Affairs, BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov, Abdulla Mushtak Awad, rector of Avid college, Suina Rashid, vice rector of Avid college, Ahmed Fayaz, deputy vice rector of Avid college, Ali Rashid, executive director of business development and international relations at Avid college.
Abdullah Mushtak Awad spoke about the infrastructure of their educational institution, noted that over 12 years, more than 20 training programs have been developed, all programs are approved by the Maldives Qualification Center. It was also noted that their college is a good investment site.
In turn, the rector of the flagship university of the region spoke about the activities and development of BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov, about the areas of training and about the infrastructure of the university.
"BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov is a popular university among foreign students, today we have more than 2,000 students from almost all countries of the world, we are very interested in your region and your educational institution, and we are ready for joint cooperation, ”said Sergei Glagolev.
Also the rector of BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov said that our university has experience, both in organizing preparatory departments in various countries of the world, and in organizing joint programs for double diplomas.

During the event, issues of further interaction between Avid college and BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov. The opening of an engineering faculty and computer specialties in the college was discussed, and issues of joint publications and scientific works were also discussed.
At the end of the online meeting, a memorandum was signed and the heads of educational institutions agreed on mutual visits for a detailed discussion of the work and visual acquaintance with the activities of educational institutions.
