Trade Union of BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov
The primary trade union organization of the region's flagship university did not stop its work during the COVID-19 pandemic: all activities were carried out remotely.
More than 80 applications for financial assistance from employees and students of BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov, who were subsequently allocated funds. For university employees, 3 non-contact thermometers, 10 mercury thermometers and 200 medical masks were purchased.
The union organization worked with volunteers to assist veterans and at-risk university workers. As a result of the work, 8 volunteers of the university were rewarded for their responsiveness at this difficult time.
Traditionally, on the occasion of Children's Day, a one-time payment was made to 12 large families, 2 mothers of disabled children and 6 single mothers. In addition, on June 21, the Medical Day, representatives of BSTU congratulated the staff of the medical center and thanked them for their help.
