Exhibition opening ceremony by the Embassy of the Sultanate of Oman
Within the framework of the meeting between the representatives of the Embassy of the Sultanate of Oman and BSTU management, the university exhibition center held an exhibition dedicated to the history and culture of Oman.
The right to open the exhibition was given to the head of the delegation of the Embassy of the Sultanate of Oman in the Russian Federation H.E. Mohammed Awad Abdoul Rahman Al-Hassan, the rector of Belgorod State Technical University named after V.G Shukhov professorS.N. Glagolev and the rector of Belgorod Institute of Culture and Arts I.B Ignatova.
"I should mention that this exhibition was held for the first time in Russia. And I am glad that it was our academic staff and the students, who first saw this remarkable exhibition. This is an important step towards the closer ties between our peoples, "- said professor S.N. Glagolev.
In his turn, the Ambassador of Oman, said: "I am happy to be at your university. We are proud of friendly relationship that has been built between us. And I thank the university academic staff for the high level of knowledge. I look forward to further cooperation." In token of gratitude the distinguished guest presented the books on history and culture of Oman, a few pictures and an Omani knife - a symbol of courage and generosity.
The visitors have seen not just the nature of Oman, its historical monuments, but for some time they also felt themselves in the atmosphere of the mysterious East. The girls wearing national costumes of Oman offered the visitors oriental sweets, the air was laced with spices and the sounds of oriental music. The people were in no hurry to leave the show. Foreign students and the distinguished guests took pictures and talked.
It is not accidental what the visitors of the exhibition say: "Now we have a great desire to visit this extremely beautiful country. The exhibition is amazing! "
