Strengthening the Cooperation
On May 26, Mrs. Ruth Da Conceicao Da Silva, the Head of the Students Department of the Embassy of the Republic of Angola came on a visit to BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov. The aim of her visit was strengthening the cooperation with our university, training over 40 students from Angola. Today, the government of Angola, being aware of high level specialists training at BSTU plans to extend the number of their students as Angola experiences an urgent need for engineers.
Mrs. Ruth Da Conceicao Da Silva expressed a vivid interest to the students’ living conditions and how successful they are adapting themselves to the university life.
E.N. Legochkina, the Dean of the Preparatory Faculty for Foreign Students stress the diligence of Angolian students in their studies, their discipline, successful sport activities and social events. Elena Nikolaevna expressed gratitude to Mrs. Ruth Da Conceicao Da Silva the Embassy students department is giving to students from Angola.
Later the high ranking visitor came to the university museum and left a gratitude note in the book of honorary visitors. In conclusion Mrs. Ruth Da Conceicao Da Silva met the students from Angola, taking their course at BSTU.
