The visit of a Delegation from Ukraine
On May 20 Belgorod State Technological University named after V.G. Shukhov received a delegation from the town of Vyshgorod (Ukraine), who came to our university for sharing experience. The representatives were Y.V. Senyuk, academician of the Ukrainian Academy of science and V.N. Fedosenko, director of “Technoporoject” (research and production facility).
Before coming to our university the Ukrainian representatives met Belgorod local government officials and signed a twin-city agreement between Belgorod and Vyshgorod. (Vishgorod is a province centre in Kiev oblast in Ukraine with the population of 23 thousand people).
Today the guests visited our university for the first time. The Ukrainian representatives were interested in the following areas: power saving technologies and new trends in research and development, including youth research.
During their business visit the guests had a tour of the university and got familiarized with the university museum, integrated control unit and a business incubator. The director of the innovation and technological centre, candidate of economic sciences L.I Romanovich showed the facilities and told about priority projects at our university including patents. The members of the Ukrainian delegation shared their experience in innovations area. At the end of the meeting the visitors marked high level of our university and said: «we really have things to learn from you».
