Victory Day
According to the tradition, foreign students of Belgrod State Shukhov Technological University get together to visit the places, where the former Soviet Union soldiers were fighting against fascist invaders. On May 9, which is a Russian national holiday, young people from different countries took a trip to the memorial estate, the place of the greatest tank battle of World War II – the Kursk battle.
On the 66th anniversary of the Great Victory over fascism the students commemorated the soviet soldiers, who died during the war. They also learned much about the war events and this period in the Russian history, which left heroic pages in the area/ where they are studying now. All of them understand the value of incomparable contribution, made by both military men and ordinary people to the victory in the Kursk battle and believe the war should never happen again. Foreign students also made a tribute to Muslim soldiers who died in this battle at the memorial stone.
