Technology University hosted a technology festival
On the 8th of February,the first regional technological festival named after V.G. Shukhov opened its doors to everyone who wants to plunge into the world of scientific and technical creativity and engineering education.
The flagship university became the site of the regional festival and brought together students from schools and additional education of the region. The main organizer was the Small Technological University BSTU named after V.G. Shukhova (director - Natalya Altynnik).
A separate type of competition was provided for each class. There was a special stir around the “obstacle course” - a polygon consisting of obstacle cells. Cars on radio control had to overcome the platform with artificial grass made of polypropylene, stone slides and cones, expanded clay and sieve. For overcoming each obstacle, players were awarded points. The most difficult and “costly” obstacle in terms of points was overcoming an inclined plane with ramps, which is a plane at an angle of inclination of 15 ° and a maximum height of 40 mm.
Pupils of grades 2-8 competed in the labyrinths of educational designers; for grades 8-11, a drafting Olympiad was prepared. Everyone could test their strengths at the Olympiad in programming and 3-D modeling, participate in a projector contest or play soccer with controlled robots. In a word, no one was left behind.
