Cooperation with an Austrian company BAUMIT
On 22nd of January a business trip was held for representatives of the flagship university, the administration of the Belgorod region, the leading construction companies of the region to the BAUMIT site in Wopfing (Austria).
This concept of the BAUMIT company is consistent with the philosophy of the city-forming policy of the Belgorod region, and therefore the working meeting aroused mutual interest among the representatives of our region and company representatives. The Austrian company has been involved in the construction of green housing for several decades and is a recognized innovator in the construction industry.
Of particular interest to Belgorod residents was a visit to the VIVA research park, which is the largest European training ground for studying the effects of building materials and systems on human health.
From BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov was attended by Professor Valeria Strokova, who presented BAUMIT employees with scientific directions on creating energy-efficient and environmentally friendly composite building materials developed by scientists from the reference university.
Based on the results of the meeting, ways of scientific cooperation, as well as the use of the results of scientific research by BAUMIT in the educational process, were outlined.
