A round-table discussion on anti-corruption took place at the university
On the 18th of December, a roundtable discussion on the theme “The main directions of state policy in the field of the fight against corruption” took place at the flagship University. The purpose of this event is to discuss pressing issues of implementing state policy in the field of combating corruption, identifying priorities for the coming period, and sharing experience.
The meeting began with the opening address of the Vice-Rector for Security, BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov - Vladimir Borisovsky. Then she greeted everyone and set the tone for the event, Vice-Rector for Research and Innovation Tatyana Davydenko.
Statistics over recent years, programs in accordance with which the activities of senior officials are monitored, the centralization of anti-corruption activities, and many other topics were disclosed in the speeches of the guests of honor.
A nice addition and a fresh look at the problem was the performance of a student of BSTU. V.G. Shukhov Karina Basova (4 year, direction "Economic Security").
All participants in the round table discussed important tasks and problems presented in reports and speeches, as well as noted the importance of issues raised during an open discussion and exchange of views. The most exciting moment was the awarding of contestants of posters and research works “I am against corruption”.
In total, more than 30 research projects were accepted. The winners are:
1st place

- Taisiya Baranova, BelUI of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia named after I.D. Putilina (“A bribe as a form of corruption in government bodies and educational organizations”);
2nd place
- Julia Skachkova, BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov (“Federal anti-corruption legislation: strengths and weaknesses”);
- Alina Yaremchuk Vasilievna, BSTU. V.G. Shukhov (“Confiscation of property as a way to fight corruption”);
3rd place
- Ksenia Chasovskaya, BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov (“Judicial practice in the relations of corrupt officials in Russia”);
- Daria Shtepa, BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov ("Signs of corruption as a socio-legal phenomenon. Features of corruption in higher educational institutions").
A total of 37 works were accepted for the poster contest:
1st place - Natalya Zhiteneva, BelUI of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia named after I.D. Putilina (“Honestly the name is better than wealth”);
2nd place - Margarita Zelikova, BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov (“Let's say there is no corruption”);
3rd place - Alexandra Kornyushkina, BSIAC (series of posters).
