Ghanaian government scholars will study at the BSTU named after V.G.Shukhov
Evelyn Jennifer Bedou, an employee of the Ghanaian scholarship secretariat under the President, paid a working visit to the Pivotal University. The purpose of the visit was to conduct negotiations on the training of scholars of the Government of Ghana at BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov.
The guest met with the Dean of the Preparatory Faculty for Foreign Citizens Elena Legochochkina.
Cooperation of the main university with the African Republic has been going on for many years. In 2018, the head of the Russian Language department of the University of Accra Kszbok-Tverféu Ildiko visited a technological university. Having familiarized herself with the educational and scientific base, Ms. Ildiko highly praised the university and suggested that the government of Ghana send scholarship holders not only to Moscow universities, but also to BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov.
“At the moment, a memorandum is being prepared to organize the training of scholarship holders of the Government of Ghana at the University of Technology. But, already in September of this year, the Preparatory Faculty accepted the first group from Ghana. And on November 25, another group of students from the University of Accra replenished the number of foreigners studying at the university, ”said Elena Nikolaevna.
Ahead of the students from Ghana is not only learning, but also getting acquainted with the culture and traditions of Russia.
