Presentation of the festival Days of Belgorod in Belgrade took place in Serbia
Institute of Serbian Language and Communications of BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov co-organized the festival "Days of Belgorod in Belgrade", which will be held in autumn 2020.
An official presentation was presented in Serbia. The cultural attache of the Embassy of Russia in Serbia Alexander Konanykhin was guest of honor of the event .
The purpose of the festival is to introduce Belgrade residents to the Russian region of the same name, develop Russian-Serbian cooperation, popularize Russian culture abroad and promote the Russian language in the world.
The director of the Institute of Serbian Language and Communications of the reference university - the project coordinator Victoria Ryapuhina, presented the university and spoke about the cultural, historical and scientific potential of Belgorod, about the features and attractions of the region.
The guests and participants visited the photo exhibition of Haris Lichina on the theme “Belgorod Motives”, the opening day of Anica Savic “Belgorod – Niš: so far, but so close”, the Serbian premiere of the documentary “Shukhov - the last hero of the Russian Renaissance”, the author's exhibition of Russian national rag dolls by the master arts and crafts of Alexandra Androsova, and tasting dishes of Russian cuisine from the community of compatriots in Belgrade "Craftswoman - traditions of Russian cuisine." This made it possible to better know and feel the atmosphere of “Russian Belgrade”. Serbov was interested in Belgorod products and tourist destinations in the region.
At a press conference, media representatives asked questions about Serbian migrants, about the famous Belgorod residents with Serbian roots.
At the end of the event, the Russian and Serbian sides discussed issues of further cooperation.
