Coaches of the flagship university awarded the professional skill award “Vocation”
In Russia the Coach’s Day has been unofficially celebrated since 1999, it was then that the Federation of Sports and Rhythmic Gymnastics of the Russian Federation came up with the initiative to allocate a special day of the year to celebrate Coach’s Day. From this moment on October 30, athletes thank their mentors for their work. This year, for the first time, the Coach’s Day was celebrated in the Belgorod Region and the “Vocation” professional skill awards were awarded to the best mentors.
The event was attended by sports legends: Olympic champion Sergey Tetyukhin and head coach of the Belogorye club Gennady Shipulin.
Among the first, the “Vocation” award was received by the Honored Trainer of Russia, Head of the Department of Physical Education and Sports of BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov Sergey Kramskoy. The head of the apparatus of the head of the regional administration Vladimir Pertsev handed thanks to the administration of the governor of the Belgorod region and the commemorative medal “Vocation” for a significant contribution to the development of physical culture and sports in the territory of the Belgorod region and good results in the training of athletes. The Techno-Spartak team, under the leadership of Sergey Kramskoy, has been successfully performing for 10 seasons in the Premier League.
Raisa Popova- head coach of the volleyball club of BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov "Belogorochka-BSTU", the honored trainer of Russia was awarded the diploma of the Department of Physical Culture and Sports and the medal "Vocation" for the outstanding achievements of their athletes.
Also, the “Vocation” award and the honorary diploma of the Union of Russian Officers were presented to Nikolai Kutergin, Honored Master of Sports of Russia, Associate Professor of Physical Education and Sports, BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov.
