Arrival to Middle East

Business trip of University’s delegation to Middle East.
On the end of January, University’s delegation visited an educational fair in Dubai (UAE), organized under the aegis of German Company ICEF, international consultants in education. BSTU n.a. V.G. Shukhov was a sole university from Russian Federation participated that event. Within the conference the agency agreements with companies from Saudi Arabia and India were signed.
Saudi Arabia representative expressed his wish to visit our University with the purpose of degree assessment of foreign students studies. The demand for Russian education among foreign students has considerably risen. For many reasons, these changes are stipulated by recent visit of Russian prime-minister, Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin, in Saudi Arabia. The visit of Saudi Arabia representative in BSTU n.a. V.G. Shukhov is planned for the period from May to June.
In March delegation of BSTU n.a. V.G.Shukhov visited Iraq. The purpose of this trip was an establishment of business contacts with 5 Iraq’ universities. During the visit the delegation visited 3 provinces, and capital – the city of Baghdad. Iraqi deputy minister of education was accompanying delegation in a course of trip.
Iraq is a country, after ten years of blockade and twenty years of war, which has stand up on the way of industrial development. For enforcement of this process scientific ideas and developments are indispensable, and BSTU n.a. V.G.Shukhov is able to provide it.
Meetings with three governors of provinces and their deputies were organized. Different aspects of our University’s functioning were discussed during the meetings, BSTU n.a. V.G. Shukhov displays interest not only to cooperation with recruiting companies but also it is highly interested in scientific and technical area cooperation with Iraq.
Undoubtedly, our further cooperation has a potential. Yet, in May it is planned an arrival of 30 people for advance training.
