Department of Construction and Municipal Economy: on training foreign students
This academic year the students studying in English have successfully defended their graduation qualification works. This was already the thirdgraduationof Bachelor’s leveland the firstgraduation of Master’s level.
Among today's graduates thereare representatives of such countries as Oman, Nigeria, Zambia, Egypt, Ghana, Pakistan, Uganda, Zimbabweand Swaziland.
In the period of study, foreign students showed diligence in the study of special disciplines.With great interest they became acquainted with Russian culture, language and traditions.
In the implementation of final qualifying works and in theirdefensethe foreign students confirmed a high level of knowledge and readiness for further professional activities.The graduates of Master’s level demonstrated the high level the results of their research on such actual and important issues as strength, crack resistance and deformability of prefabricated and monolithic reinforced concrete structures, strength of connections of metal structures, etc.
During the period of study, the students of Master’s level published research articles and also reported on the results of their research projects at student conferences and forums.
After the defense, the graduates expressed their gratitudeto the Department of Construction and Municipal Facilitiesand to the supervisors of final qualifying worksfor their professionalism, as well as for the conditions created for productive and effective training.
