Teachers and students of the university took part at international conferences
The St. Petersburg State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering held international conferences on project management and BIM technologies in construction and architecture. They were visited by the delegation of the base university of the Belgorod region.
BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov were presented by Irina Avilova, Senior Lecturer at the Engineering and Construction Institute Maria Krutilova, and undergraduate student, Chairman of the ICS Communication and Cooperation Initiative international non-profit organization Alexander Laketich .
The First International Scientific and Practical Conference "Project Management: Ideas, Values, Solutions" gathered 200 participants from different cities of Russia, as well as representatives from Belarus, Germany, Kazakhstan, Serbia, Saudi Arabia, Togo, Switzerland, Estonia.
Project management specialists, leaders of professional communities, as well as representatives of higher educational institutions discussed problems, exchanged experience and gained new knowledge from professional practitioners in the field of project management. Knowledge was shared by Vice President of the IPMA Project Management Association Martin Sedlmeyer from Switzerland, President of the Russian National Project Management Association SOVNET Alexander Tovb, Chairman of the Board of the Russian National Project Management Association SOVNET, Managing Partner of the Project Practice Group Alexey Polkovnikov and others .
At the scientific conference flow, Maria Krutilova and Alexander Laketich presented the reports “Modeling the cost-effective risks of investment and construction projects at the feasibility study stage” and “Tools for effective quality management of the urban environment.”
The conference was organized by Sergey Bovteev, associate professor of the construction organization department at SPSUACE, certified project management specialist (IPMA level D), certified project coordinator for the PM STANDARD model, Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist: MS Project, spoke about the next project management conference held in April 2020: “The II All-Russian Conference will bring together students and young professionals from St. Petersburg, Moscow, Belgorod, Pskov, Tyumen, and other cities of Russia. They will talk about their research and practices, listen to speeches by experienced speakers. ”
The Second International Scientific and Practical Conference "BIM-modeling in the tasks of construction and architecture" brought together representatives of Russian and foreign universities, construction companies, and design organizations. Here they discussed the use of BIM technologies in industrial and civil construction. Representatives of BSTU discussed issues of cooperation with leading companies and educational institutions.
Conference participants made excursions to the university, departments and laboratories.
